Danube lowland are by nature different from many other areas. It's monotonous territory interwoven with many irrigation and drainage channels. Altitude is about 150 to 250 meters.
Danube Plain is the largest lowland area in Slovakia. In the east and north of it follows the lower Danube Plain, adjacent to the west of Malé Karpaty Mountains and forms the southern side of the border with Hungary.
The above are only the tip of Burda (388 m), Jablonec (272 m), back (271 m) and Blue Hill (251 m).
About Danube extend wetlands and steppes with plenty of water and shoulders are a haven for waterfowl, marsh deer, roe deer, hares and wild pigs.
Although located in the Danube lowland low altitude and relief is dull, there are ski resorts, where you can pay either downhill skiing or hiking on lyžiach.O what is this impoverished area in the winter, the more it compensates during the summer months. There are several mineral and thermal springs, with the possibility of swimming in thermal pools.
