Blacksmiths craft is one of the oldest crafts in general. At the time of the guild blacksmiths did all the work of iron. Soon, however, there has been specialization and produced many independent handicrafts. It is surprising that the original blacksmithing gradually came to eighteen separate industries. The best known are locksmiths, swordfish, cutler, klinčiari, ostrohári and gunsmiths. Although this is a separate craft, in fact, they work together very overlapping. Blacksmithing exhibition can be viewed in the museum Kysucky Čadca that it has prepared in cooperation with the Vocational School in Kysucké New Town. This reminds of the 55 year anniversary. One of the courses at this school is the artistic craftsmanship of metals, aiming to forge and metalwork, handmade art utility and decorative items from metal.
