Permanent exhibition of works by painter is installed in a neoclassical mansion of 19 century, since 1979. Mary Medvecká after studies in Bratislava (1942 - 1945), Vienna (1945 - 1946) and Prague (1946 - 1947) returned permanently to their native Orava and together with her husband, an academic painter Ctibor Belan devoted to creative work and an important cultural and educational activities which results in the formation Orava Gallery.
